As a Certified Public Accountant and long-time CFO for multiple companies, Steve has 25 years of accounting, finance, tax, auditing, operations, and consulting experience for public, private, and international companies ranging up to $2 billion in revenues.

Steve’s experience spans multiple industries that include retail, consumer products and services, manufacturing, engineering & construction, contracting, healthcare, aerospace & aviation, real estate, clean energy, government, and not-for-profit. He has served such companies as Harsco Corporation, Boyd Corporation, Burnham Boilers, and Lignetics.

Throughout his career, he has served in other financial capacities, including as Corporate and Business Unit/Operations Controller, Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting Supervisor, and as Financial Analyst. In those several capacities, he has obtained expertise in M&A; due diligence; financial reporting; strategic planning, forecasting, & budgeting; cost accounting, taxes and tax planning, ERP system & internal control implementation; multi-site & international manufacturing; banking relationships; treasury, insurance, & risk management; foreign exchange hedging; operational improvement, cost reduction & cash flow management; and board reporting.

Steve’s accomplishments include:

• CFO of multiple company sales/merger that included transaction preparation, due diligence, & post-acquisition integration.
• Managed numerous cash flow challenged situations that included procurement of external financing.
• Developed many financial models, analyses, and presentations involving cash flow forecasting, cost planning, budgeting, strategic planning, & board of directors reporting.
• Streamlined reporting & accelerated the close process for multiple companies.
• Handled tax appeal resulting in $1 million tax refund.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of Pittsburgh. Steve has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant for nearly 20 years.
