Mike Slavens has over thirty years of finance, accounting, and operations experience as a 10-year Big 4 firm CPA, and senior executive – chief financial officer, Vice President/General Manager, and Controller. He has worked for PE, VC, and entrepreneur-owned middle market companies.

  • Process Improvements – Developed operational and accounting controls for an employer, reducing excessive inventory losses by $500,000+ to .3% of sales vs. .5% industry standard.
  • Developed financial / ERP systems for budgeting, reporting, forecasting, analysis, compliance and asset management.
  • Created SKU-based, gross margin reporting system that generated monthly margin, markdown, discount and shrink reports.
