Brad Grob

Brad Grob has over 20 years of experience helping companies build profitable revenue growth. His areas of expertise include strategic business planning, marketing, sales, and new business development.  He has consulted with Fortune 500 companies as well as high growth entities in a variety of industries including media, distribution, technology/internet, and services.   He has worked with companies such as the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Cox Enterprises, Cox Search, AutoTrader.com, Local.com, Hearst-Argyle, Xerox, AT&T, Manheim, Fastclick, Industrial Metal Supply, United States Container, Optibase, GoToMyPC, and Whole Health Management.

Brad began his business career at Xerox where he held management positions strategy/planning and marketing.  As a result of his activities, Xerox established new indirect channel Business Units for selling electronic printing and desktop publishing products. These divisions eventually generated yearly sales exceeding $250 million.

He also founded a successful gift manufacturing company that became the largest supplier in its category. The company was a pioneer in selling through a variety of channels, achieving distribution in 20,000 retail locations among supermarkets, mass merchants, warehouse clubs, department stores, and drug outlets.

Brad also served as group director, market development for a $1 billion distributor of books, video and software.  He contributed to increasing software sales from $40 million to $150 million by expanding sales to various retail channels, including mass merchants, warehouse stores, book stores, and video stores.

He then served as vice president, business development for a leading multimedia publisher of lifestyle content.  Brad developed content licensing and cross-promotion marketing programs with major companies such as Meredith Corporation, Home Depot, Corian, and GE that resulted in significant in revenue increases.  As part of the senior management team, the company completed an initial public offering.

Finally, Brad served as executive vice president of marketing and business development for a leading supplier of software solutions of streaming audio and video. He was responsible for strategic alliances and marketing activities.  As part of the senior management team, he completed a public offering on the London Stock Exchange.

Brad holds a master in business administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with bachelor of science degrees in economics and electrical engineering.  He also teaches eMarketing at the University of California, Los Angeles.
