Mike Letson is a certified DMAIC Black Belt and Six Sigma Lean Green Belt. His background spans military, Fortune 500 and entrepreneurship environments. Mike has nearly 15 year of experience in leadership roles working with Fortune 500 companies as well as small and medium-sized businesses across the following industries:

  • Consumer Products
  • Manufacturing
  • Commercial Manufacturing
  • Service Providers (i.e., insurance, call centers, banks, restaurants, healthcare)
  • Government Entities

Mike has served key roles in supply chain management, manufacturing operations, repair and overhaul, quality and sales with such companies as Textron, United Technologies Corporation, L-3 Communications and Esterline. He has also held leadership positions in materials management, engineering and program management.

  • Using Six Sigma, Lean, TOC and other appropriate tools, he has expertise in these functional areas:
  • Production Processes and Control, Planning, Forecasting and Scheduling
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Office Lean (transactional – i.e., sales, human resources, engineering, quality)
  • Information and Material Flow
  • Project Management

Mike served as a U.S. Army Captain and Aviation Officer as a CH-47 Chinook pilot. He is Vice President of the Southern California chapter of the Army Aviation Association of America. Certifications in APICS Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and Agile Scrum Program Management are pending. In addition, he teaches college level courses and business workshops on a variety of related operational management topics. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from Daemen College.
