Donald D. Busse, CPA

Don Busse gives clients his expertise as a Certified Public Accountant with over 10 years experience in a Big Four public accounting firm and over 27 years’ experience in private industry and consulting.  He has held corporate controllership positions at entrepreneurial and private companies in the distribution, food service, and sales, marketing and merchandising industries.

As controller of emerging and middle-market privately held companies, he has established and managed banking relationships, M&A transactions, accounting systems, internal controls that utilized offshore resources, and budgeting that included self-insurance reserve analysis.  As a consultant, Don has prepared business plans and worked with startup companies in the manufacturing and the advertising, sales, and marketing industries.
He is knowledgeable about financial accounting and reporting, development of short-term and long-term projections, cash management, streamlining operations, performance metrics, insurance and benefit plan administration, and internal control design and evaluation.

Don received a bachelors of science in accounting from the University of Denver, is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, and is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
