Arnold J. Simoni
Healthcare Management

Arnold Simoni is a senior healthcare executive and former CPA manager with a Big Four accounting firm.  He provides clients proven expertise in strategic planning, development, and leadership of sophisticated healthcare-practice organizations. Using his strengths in operational engineering, team building, and leadership, he has contributed to multi-million dollar revenue growth and delivered significant and sustainable cost reductions for his clients. He also has contributed to staffing (including clinical, nursing, laboratory and ancillary services), productivity improvements, and market penetration through advances in contract services, financial/accounting policy, administration, mergers, acquisitions, and integration of management functions.

Arnie’s skills are focused on healthcare, particularly in hospital and hospital system services.  He served as regional CFO responsible for the financial operations of six hospitals for one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare providers in the U.S.

As a senior financial and operating executive, he directly managed the architectural design, plan development and approval, construction, equipping, opening, and administration of a new hospital inpatient facility and two outpatient facilities on-schedule and within budget. Arnie is experienced in all aspects of financial and operational management hospitals.  He has filled interim-CEO, COO, and CFO positions.  He also has served as corporate controller for one of the nation’s largest wholesale distributors of pharmaceuticals and delivery systems where he developed and implemented financial and inventory controls.

He also has provided support and expert testimony on behalf of litigation firms relating to healthcare services and insurance cases during arbitration, pre-trial, and at trial.

He published a paper titled “Role of Patient Business Office Director” for the HFMA.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Arnie holds a bachelor of science in business administration with emphasis in accounting from the University of Denver.
