Joe Herold
Organizational Strategy Expert
Joe Herold has a long track record of being invited to the table as a business leader. As a senior Human Resources executive, he earned his place on the strategy team by demonstrating a clear grasp of mission, vision, and strategy beyond the HR function, and then developing innovative people programs that contribute to high levels of productivity and results.
During the past 30 years, Joe has worked for five Fortune 1000 companies in the oil, chemical, aerospace, and high-tech industries with leadership roles in operating sites, engineering design centers, sales and service offices, and division and corporate headquarters. His experiences range from small factories and business units to mid- and large-sized, international entities. He has hands-on experience in 14 countries throughout North America, Europe and Asia and strong expertise in managing diversity and integrated cultures.
Joe’s key accomplishments include:
- Facilitated a team of 30 leaders to redesign the worldwide operational infrastructure for a multi-billion dollar organization to increase speed and lower cost
- Designed and led two successful partnerships with major union, i.e., UAW representatives to implement flexible work systems
- Drove organizational due diligence and integration actions for eight acquisitions
- Designed & facilitated a broad array of leadership development and organization change processes at small factories and sales offices, mid-sized business units, and large, multi-national corporations
Joe Herold is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and has significant participation in executive programs such as Stanford and USC. He is a member of the HARRT Roundtable at UCLA’s Anderson School of Business, SHRM, and the Institute of Management Consultants.
