Tom Pedersen brings to his clients broad, far-reaching skills in product development, marketing, technical, and healthcare services.  These include company/hospital imaging, therapy, and surgical joint-ventures; application generator software development for the telecommunications industry as well as medical group development, assessment, operations, and management.  He also has deep experience with hospital ancillary services, healthcare provider companies, and physician practice management (PPM) firms.  Tom has served in senior management positions for middle market private as well as publicly-traded, multi-national Fortune 500 companies with revenues to $5 billion. As an expert in the healthcare industry, he has successfully dealt with new program development, mergers and acquisitions advisory, due diligence, strategic and business planning, and corporate governance.

Tom applies his knowledge to advising clients in start-ups, capital formation, public company debt and equity financings, reorganizations, turnarounds, crisis restructuring and profitability enhancement.  He also utilizes his skills in the areas of litigation support and expert testimony.

His clients include venture capital and private equity firms and their portfolio companies, law firms specializing in litigation and bankruptcy, trustees and assignees, banks and other capital providers.  He has also represented physician medical specialists in various aspects of group practice to include formation, business development, marketing, contracting, hospital relations, and operational assessments. He has effectively implemented complex specialty programs and centers of excellence to enhance revenues for hospitals and hospital systems.

Tom has presented numerous times at professional associations, such as the Economics of Diagnostic Imaging Symposia, Radiological Society of North America American Association of Neurosurgeons, Healthcare Financial Management Association, Beard Healthcare Conference, American Association of Physicists in Medicine, Telecommunications in Marketing, Telemarketing in Business Telecommunications, Radiology Business Management Association and in webinars for various organizations.

He is a member of the following professional associations:

Tom holds a bachelor of arts in english and education with a minor in mathematics from the University of Illinois.  He has earned post-graduate credit in business law and management.
